In my quest for implementing a good solid rules engine for my AutoReply Robot, I have (at least) 2 choices.
1. Designing and coding my own engine.
2. The Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 has some very interesting possibilities using the WF (Workflow Foundation)
Since I have now have a working beta using the 1st choice, I think I will stick with that. However, I will certainly look into the second option, because it has more possibilities.

To just check the status if your current Live Messenger status seems a little bit to simple.
I have started to develop a little bit more advanced rules checking engine.
This enables the user of the Auto Reply Robot to set a couple of more other rules besides the Busy, Away, Out to lungh etc. statuses.
At the moment, Iam working onchecking the date and teim when the message arrives, as well as checking the senders idetity.
So, what does this mean ?
Well, the goal is to enable you to set a more advanced rule like; If a message arrive son Mondays between 10:40 and 12:30, reply with message X.
If a incoming message arrives every day between 12:00 and 13:00, and my status is set to Away, send message Y.
