    Error with Bass Engine

I get these messages whenever trying to stream an online radio station. The station will begin to buffer and then two message boxes appear with the text listed below:

    Error creating stream:BASS_ERROR_UNKNOWN
    Error channel play:BASS_ERROR_HANDLE

    Hi there.

Do you mean that you get this error on all stations ?

If only on specific stations, can you please tell me which ones ?

    Thanks

    Re: Error with Bass Engine

It occurs with any radio station I try and play in the presets. There is also no difference when attempting to play stations in different formats (aac, mp3, wma), as the same error message boxes appear regardless. Often the station will begin to buffer, reach 75% or so and then fail as described.

    Hi there.

If you try to listen to those stations using Winamp or Windows Media player, does it work without any problems ?

Yes, I can play the streams in Winamp with no problem. For example, here is a stream in three different formats that I got from Online Radio Tuner's presets which result in the message box errors I mentioned. However, I tested each of them successfully in Winamp.

    Re: Error with Bass Engine

    Hmm...

These stations (SKY.fm) I listen to everyday without a glitch.
Can you tell me a little bit more of your system.
    OS, Soundcard/Drivers , e.t.c.

I did have some odd problems (stuck at 75%) with an external (USB) Soundblaster MP3+ soundcard.
These issues were fixed by downloading the latest Creative drivers from here.

Also, try the new 1.1.17 version.
Nothing especially is made regarding connection issues, but some sound components are updated.
