 Could you explain me what difference between: Balloon notifier, Notifier and ToolTip ?

 
If i don't make mistake , Notifier is a popup when song change ( Msn-like), ToolTip is when i move the mouse over the Online Radio Tuner icon in system tray but Balloon Notifier ?

 
When i  have EnableBalloonNotifier True or False it's seem there's no difference !?

 Yes, of course, I can show you some pictures.

First, the 'Balloon':

the 'Notifier':

and last'ly, the 'tooltip'.

 All these are dependent on that the broadcaster streams out metadata with song changes.
For instance, all Sky.fm stations do.
But sadly, not all broadcasters do this. Also, WMA streams doesn't have this metatag feature.

 I don't know why ? i have Enableballoonnotifier=True

Is the something wrong or perhaps something in windows xp i must change  ?

EDIT : I found the solution !, i use TweakUIpowertoy and i reactivate  Balloon Tips and now all work well !

All Work, but on some station like Magic Radio or Frequence3, on the main window, these stations display  songs that are coming next but not on Balloon or tooltip ?

Does it come from these stations or is it a bug ?

Well if it is a feature or a bug, that is the question...

I did this on purpose, filtering those messages, because otherwise the recording would have split the currently recording track.

You see, the only way for the program to detect a song cahnge is to rely on the song information from the station. So if they broadcast 'upcoming' tracks, that would have triggered a new track while recording.

Right now, this filter is hardcoded. But I could expose it to the Options window so that you can configure the filter words and/or disable the filter altogether.

It will be great if you activate the filter option !, the current track is display because the station broadcast the information, but why Online Radio Tuner doesn't display in Balloon, notifier or Tooltips the upcoming track information like the station broadcast it ?

Right nowI haven't separated the record splitting logic from the message logic, which I of course should do.

I also notice something, but i don't know if you could do enhancement for this :

 a lot of radio station broadcast the song title a few second before the song start really !! great thing for the info but not for record it !!! so could you implement an option like "delay before record start" in second ?

That would be great !

I have found a station (www.c9radio.fr) which provide "now" & "next" track informations that appear in the main window and in the notification at the same time ! so it's not a bug but it depend of the station  !
