    Recording Folder

    Hello...

I am using Vista Ultimate and I am a new user of the online radio software. Everything works perfectly except the recording folder location.  I have changed the location twice to different locations but the stream always ends up in the /music folder.  Any ideas?  Version 1.2.1.0.

    Re: Recording Folder

    Hi there.

    Thanks for your report.

I have not yet been able to reproduce your problem. Can you tell me a little bit more, for instance:

Do you manually enter the folder path , or do you use the Select Folder dialog?

Are you trying to use some logical network drive, or removable drive?

    Thanks,

    Magnus

    Re: Recording Folder

I do select the folder dialog box and point to the folder.  The folder is located in the "MUSIC" folder as a sub folder called "online".  /music/online is the local drive.  Thanks.

    Re: Recording Folder

    Hi there.

I have tested on Windows Vista Ultimate, but can't reproduce the problem.

Also tested with a standard user account (with no admin priviligies) and can still change the recording folder.

Also made the same sub-folder as you did.

Have you tried some other folder?

    I will continue to investigate.

    /M

    Re: Recording Folder

Well with no explanation as to why, this program has started working perfectly.  I'm not sure if I did anything differently; The recordings are moving to the correct folder and other setting changes are taking place.  I may have to purchase the Online Radio. :-)  Thanks. for your help.

Getting same problem with Vista Premium. I have made a new folder called Bassic in "Music" but it will not place recorded files there, it just puts them in  my Music,

    Re: Recording Folder

    Hi.

We have now found the issue.

    Here's a workaround:

Create a recording profile (or select an already existing profile), right-click and select "Set as default profile".

Now, use the "RecordingFolder" property on this profile to set the desired folder.

In the next release, we will make this work much better, so that there will be an option to override the settings on the profiles with the settings from the Recording pane.

    Regards,

    Magnus
